We cannot help with personal mental health situations. We are not clinicians and cannot give advice about your health, your results, or someone you are worried about. If you need support now: in the US, call or text 988; in the UK and Ireland, call 116 123; elsewhere, find a line at findahelpline.com. If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

Reporting a correction

We take factual corrections seriously and would rather hear about an error than leave it up. If you are reporting one, it helps enormously if you include:

  • The page URL and, if possible, the heading the claim sits under
  • What the page currently says
  • What it should say, and a source we can check

When we correct something substantive, we update the "last updated" date on the page and note what changed.
